"Dear Mesa Boot Camp,

I am writing to you with much appreciation for the major progress I am experiencing during my first bootcamp with you. As a former competitive gymnast and active person, I never had to worry about staying in shape or losing weight. After I had my son and stayed home, my activity level decreased and my weight skyrocketed. I had tried to do everything I could to get back in shape this past year, but did not have any luck. I was walking everyday, doing workout tapes and getting to the gym whenever I could, but nothing seemed to help. I joined bootcamp last Monday, and already feel like a new person. Within several days, I could tell that I was firming up and am wearing my pre-pregnancy clothes again - they're even fitting better than before I got pregnant. I only wish I would've started sooner. I never thought I was the kind of person who could get up early to workout. Your camp is something I really look forward to every day. The best part is that you make it fun, and get us motivated with a challenging workout and lots of encouragement. I also stick with it because you hold us accountable if we miss a day. I never get bored, because you create a new workout every time. I am so thankful to you for helping me lose the "baby weight", and am looking forward to continuing on to your next camp to maintain my health and fitness."

Tammy lost over 75 pounds!!

"As you know, I have now lost over 75 pounds. I have gone from squeezing into size 20 jeans to having to wear a belt with my size 12 jeans. However, I never thought I’d see this day…I just bought a swimsuit to wear in public! I am proud to say that I will not embarrass myself, my husband, or my children when I wear it on the beach in Mexico next week.

There is not enough that I could say to express my gratitude to you. I may have done the work that has gotten me to this point, but I would not have been able to do it without you. Could I have? Yes. Would I have? No!!! Your incredible patience, positive motivation, and support gave me the strength to accomplish this task that I previously thought to be impossible. By keeping me focused and motivated with varied workouts that are both challenging and fun, you have taught me that fitness is not impossible or even all that difficult. You have helped me make a lifestyle change by training both my exercise and eating habits. It is not a quick fix, it is not easy, but it is working!

When I started training with you a year ago, I was a 35 year old woman who had never had the will power to keep up with exercise. In fact, I would have rather eaten rocks than exercise. Exercise has now become my best friend. OK - not really - but I don’t loathe it either. Let’s just say we are buddies. It has made a tremendous, positive change in my life - not just physically, but emotionally as well. It has boosted my self-confidence and my energy level. I feel better than I have felt in over 10 years. I must also admit that when others notice the physical change, it is the most awesome feeling imaginable. That may sound petty, but I worked my butt off for it…literally! Thank you for everything you have helped me to accomplish. I now have the hope and belief that I can continue my new habits on my journey to a leaner and healthier me."

And fyi, I actually have been able to fit comfortably in a pair of jeans that I could not even zip up before I started camp. According to the scale at home I have lost and kept off 6 pounds, so I must have firmed up in other areas. I actually feel the difference in my breathing too when we do our jogs and can actually jog further each time we do a loop."

"I have been meaning to email you and tell you that you are doing a fantastic job. You motivate us to do more then we thought possible and right now we can feel the results and hopefully at the end of the program we can see them. If I had to sign up today for the next session, I wouldn't hesitate for an instant. You didn't exaggerate when you said that the women come together as a group and encourage one another.

As hard and painful as your class is I look forward to getting there early everyday (which if you knew me would shock you that I'm not 10 minutes late every time) and enjoy my time there and even come home and tell my husband what a great work out it was. Keep up the great work."

"Nicole--I just wanted to thank your for showing me that a work out can be fun and something that I look forward to. I have completed 3 full evening camps and have lost a little over 10 pounds. (If you want to add the inches you can - I don't know how many I have lost.) I have certainly also improved my strength and endurance, when I ran my first mile I believe my time was> 11:36 and just this last time it was 8:04. I just wanted you to know that I think you do an amazing job and I appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to all of us ladies!! I know that a lot of time and effort is spent planning because you always change things up and the work out is> always a challenge!"
